Irene Alvarado (@ire_alva) works across the domains of computer science and design to explore how emerging technologies will shape new products, services, and creative tools. At Google Creative Lab, she has helped develop projects like Teachable Machine, Euphonia, and PoseNet. She is also a lecturer at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. Previously Irene worked as a UX engineer at Mapzen, helping create open-source maps, and as a developer on Terrapattern, a visual search tool for satellite imagery.
